Only 3 days to go until we reopen and we wanted to share our opening times! For our first week, we’re also going to be open on Sunday 14th July so that as many people as possible can get an early look at the exhibitions in our new home.

We've reached the middle of the week, which means that it's #OnePlaceWednesday! A day to share thoughts, news, questions, pictures and general chat about all things relating to #OnePlaceStudies, where #FamilyHistory and #LocalHistory unite!

After refusing to pump at our last steaming No. 2 pump was inspected from deep in the well. We suspected that it had clogged with debris from our Leat. The delivery valve was stuck but we've cleared it & No. 2 engine should be in fine form for our next Steaming July 28th and 29th
