This is really sad news. Nick was a lovely man, and a huge champion of the power of higher education to enable people to realise their full potential. He was particularly brilliant at making the case for the importance of the creative disciplines to our future.

Important words from Universities Scotland member UofGVC. Scotland’s economy is boosted by research and innovation, with £8m of economic impact from every £1m invested. Scottish Government can choose to power this by passing on in full Regional Innovation Fund money announced by UK Gov this week.
