Stage 3 students were given an end of term STEM challenge. They had to research four types of bridges. Beam, Arch, Suspension and Cantilever. Their drafts were done on paper then in Minecraft. Durability of the bridges will be tested this week. @AlstonvillePS @DoE_STEM

Perfect example of collaboration and problem solving. This group placed a 200gram weight at the front to promote downward force and create friction. The students also used recycled materials to add structural integrity. @DoE_STEM LEGO Education Sphero Education @AlstonvillePS
