This week our Primary 4 learners were planting on Great Southern Road after one of the P4 designs submitted to the Aberdeen City Council Flower Bed Competition won first prize. We can't wait to see it in full bloom.

Some of our learners were out litter picking this week in the local green spaces and car park around the school. This was part of the Aberdeen City Council 24 hour Glitter Pick. It was good to see we are keeping on top of things as there wasn't too much litter to pick up.

Airyhall Eco Group were successful in getting the accreditation of 'Outstanding' again for our 'It's Your Neighbourhood' award. The judges visited our school garden in June and were impressed when given a tour of the projects we have completed. #EcoSchools #Sustainability

Our Digital Club also started up again this week where some of our Primary 7 learners were showing younger learners how to code the microbits. #DigitalLearning

Primary 6 were completing first aid training with the red cross on Friday. It was great to see them being so enthusiastic.
