Where is the allocated zone in Scotland Mairi Gougeon? The entire west coast and islands? Our wild fish interests have been sold out for foreign multinationals that we then shore up with grants and lax rules.
Talk about running the gauntlet, these purple smolts have got to navigate through clouds of salmon farm origin sea lice at the very start of their long journey, bloody depressing. #Offthetable Mairi Gougeon
The Scottish Government have an obligation to protect herring spawning habitat, why wont/don't they take action? Easy win when they currently look like they don't give a fig for the environment or coastal communities. #InshoreLimit Mairi Gougeon

Helpful definition Wheeler Seafood, Inc: 'Hand rearing means being hands-on in every details and not ever replying on machines or cameras' WesterRossFisheries
So why is Mowi Scotland Limited still peddling the myth that Wester Ross Salmon is 'hand reared' when machines & cameras are used?
This is fantastic. Well done to all that put so much hard work in. Maybe Scottish Government can stop trying to wriggle out of their obligations, stop wasting tax payers money trying to defend the indefensible, and get on with their job. Mairi Gougeon
