Sri Arun Kahar, Sr. Passenger Train Manager, working under Sr.DOM/Sealdah has been conferred Safety award by DRM/Sealdah for his vigilance and presence of mind. While operating Train no.33659 Habra Local, he halted the train at Bamangachi Station PF no.3.

As the starting bell rang and the train prepared to depart, he saw a passenger running to board the train, slipped and fell beneath the train. Arun immediately applied emergency brake and stopped the train. He promptly rescued the passenger, successfully saving his life.

AIGC के प्रतिनिधियों को उन्होंने ट्रेन प्रबंधकों की शिकायतों को विस्तार से प्रस्तुत करने का एक समर्पित अवसर देने का आश्वासन दिया तथा जल्द ही समस्याओं केसमाधान के लिए अपनी प्रतिबद्धता जाहिर की । धन्यवाद माननीय रेल मंत्री 🙏🏻
