Acholi Region is comprised of 7 districts of Gulu,Kitgum,Amuru, Omoro,Agago,Pader,Lamwo & Nwoya. It was the epicentre of a 28year-long civil rebellion characterised by unspeakable atrocities against the populace & the effects linger on. #4thRegionalWomensWeek #CelebratingWomen

12 years ago during my F.6 Vacation, my career journey began with Uganda Women's Network as a volunteer translator during community dialogues in Kitgum and Lamwo. My participation in transforming communities in Acholi has since pivoted over the years which makes this full circle moment special
