It is great to see the NeighbourWood Scheme now open. There are opportunities to undertake #NativeWoodland Conservation work within the Scheme which hopefully many in both public & private sectors will avail of, in the process of creating or upgrading amenity facilities. ⬇️

🌱 Agroforestry is a tool to prevent soil erosion! 🌾🌳 Integrating trees into arable and grass lands, it stabilises soil, reduces runoff, and protects against extreme weather.

🌳 Storm Éowyn knocked down my forest. 📜 I have a thinning licence, but now they say I need a clearfell licence. ✅ Check with your local forestry advisor, but if you have a thinning licence, it can now be used as a clearfell licence. #StormÉowyn #Forestry #TreeFelling
