This week we are visiting groundnut farmers in Western Kenya who have been supported by Jetlak Foods and Africa Harvest Biotech Foundation International Wilkister is one such farmer in Siaya County who has improved her yield and harvested five bags of groundnuts from a quarter of an acre.

We are visiting Kutoka Ardhini farmers in Lunga Lunga who have received irrigation kits and dam liners through to promote food security. The irrigation kits have a 300-liter tank and drip lines for 400 square meter plots, while the water pans have a 30,000-liter capacity.

Women play a crucial role in agriculture and food production. We celebrate the determination and entrepreneurial spirit of these women farmers as we mark #internationalwomensday. #IWD2023
