#Zimbabwe: We are concerned by reports of arrests, harassment and intimidation of human rights defenders and political activists in the lead up to the SADC Secretariat summit. We call for the immediate release of all those arbitrarily detained and protection of civic space.

Honoured to be the Guest Speaker at the Malawi Girl Guide Association event last Saturday, where I discussed the importance of confidence, authentic leadership, and being a sister's keeper. We uplift each other as we lead! 💪 #Leadership #WomenEmpowerment #Sisterhood #SelfConfi

We believe that if African young women and women stand together, understand each other's experiences and aspirations; speak with one voice; take collective action; then we are able to influence power and how it is used on the continent for the good of African Humanity. #together

Today we attended a workshop hosted by Young Women aimed to raise awareness on the Model Gender Equality Bill which meant to influence the enactment of gender a equality law in Zimbabwe. We had a great opportunity to network with women from diverse political backgrounds.

Harmful cultural norms and practices may often perpetuate violence against women and girls. It is up to us all to constantly question these norms and assess the ways it further harms those who have been victimized in our societies. What is an example you can share? #EndVAWG

During our recent Feminist School, young women stressed the need to prioritize working collectively on the big cross-cutting issues. If we are going to be effective as women leaders, we need to do away with the “I” syndrome & value collaborations as we can achieve more together.
