Some folks here are insinuating that the original campaign in Lake Geneva, 1973 onward and as administered by myself and Gary, was not as delineated as latter campaigns. Read my blog on this from many years ago. Long read. lakegenevaoriginalrpg.blogspot.com/2013/04/the-fi…

"If students were to ask me, “What’s a great film?” I’d immediately send them to see 'Kagemusha' (1980), 'The Seven Samurai' (1954), or 'Rashomon' (1950)." --- Takeshi Kitano

🚨Hawk Tuah recently went viral for her rant on Blackmoor Foundations 📷"I just think that the book needs the original source documents! How can you put out a book with battle reports & not include the 'medieval battle notes'. No combat rules? What a terrible idea!"

I remember really loving this Dragon Magazine cover my Larry Elmore. I think that might be a hill giant back there, maybe? Anyway, it brings me fond memories :)

While there are are session report proofs of concepts; this may be the first (and only?) After Action Report receipt for a #brosr CAMPAIGN. #oberholt clarifying the biggest 1:1 time issue we've ran into, and his advice for same. brigadungeon.blogspot.com/2024/09/oberho…

Early editions and AD&D understood that when PCs reached a certain level of power, the game needed to change. PCs with god-like items/power, and access to resurrections/wishes, were hard to contain in an adventure. Hence, domain-level play. WotC has never grasped this concept.
