chat my mom just told me that blockchains are not decentralized because they all run on centralized RPCs with single point of failure is this true?

the reality of marketing and socials is that 9 out of 10 times, you won't get it right the first time. instead, you'll just get it less wrong each time.

Lava community announcements soon. Lava blockchain connects developers and users to all other chains. Over 140 billion requests served, with more Lava Pools launching on Mainnet, things are heating up. Say it louder: Lava is the fuel 🚒

My take: Most teams shouldn’t build their own blockchain data infrastructure. It’s tempting, full control, custom features, but the hidden costs are brutal: ❌ Lost engineering focus ❌ Outages from poor routing/failover ❌ Endless maintenance debt There’s a better way. Spend

You don't know till it's down. ''RPC'' is the unknown, underrated piece of blockchain infrastructure that is essential for everything onchain to function properly. Anon pfps are fading the decentralized RPC layer.

It's dapps not dApps. It's also not Dapps unless at the start of a sentence. We don't call them Decentralized applications, or decentralized Applications. They are decentralized applications -> dapps. I also think we will do away with this word entirely and pivot back to apps

Lava Pools are the AWS and Google Cloud of RPC infrastructure for chains. We’ve seen mass infra shifts before, it happens anytime a new tool becomes widely accepted as the standard for performance.  Late 2000s-2010s: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud become more reliable than most

Lava Network RPCs 1. Lava Network = a decentralized RPC layer. Instead of relying on a single endpoint, Lava routes requests across a network of providers → faster, more reliable & censorship-resistant access. 2. RPC providers (node operators) are rewarded based on Compute

Everyone is underestimating RPC. It's like the DNS of the 2020s, imagine being among the early people building DNS solutions in the 1990s. DNS grew from ~1M domains in 1993 to ~120M by 2001. RPC usage scales with blockchain usage. Few know.

Hot take: Blockchain isn’t truly “always‑on” - yet. It’s like dial‑up: slow, flaky, unreliable. I like to think of it as moving from dial‑up to broadband. Then we got SaaS, social media, and global trade. That’s what always‑on blockchains mean: - 24/7 capital markets -
