My team called 33 hospitals yesterday trying to get a patient admitted for a common, necessary, potentially life-saving procedure. Not one had admission capability. This is the current reality across the country. And as a healthcare provider, it is terrifying.

Last week I matched into surgical critical care fellowship at Michigan Surgery (!) and I'm finally starting to believe it's real. Can't wait to learn from such an incredible team.
