Nice dew pattern following yesterday’s soil surfactant application and 1 inch rain to wash the products into the rootzone. Thanks for the photo Sean Gregson

Clipping data helps fine-tune many agronomic inputs and show how weather impacts growth. This data shows a clear spike in growth due to hot/humid weather. PGRs are applied regularly and nitrogen rates are very low, yet growth in July has doubled compared to May and June.

Imagine how good this green would look without the unnecessary trees behind it? For context, the slope behind this green falls off more than 100 feet down to a lower section of the course.

A nice observation from my Poa green wetting agent trial following a dry down. I was hand watering these plots and they were accepting the water at different speeds. The left and middle plots are treated with experimental products. The plot on the right is the untreated.

With the Curtis Cup being played at Sunningdale, I can’t help but go through my photos from when I was there last year. Such a cool place!

I had a great time at the Solheim Cup today. Hats off to Scott Furlong and the agronomy team preparing RTJ for the biggest stage in women’s golf! It was also great to catch up with Niall Richardson of Bernardus & John Miller of LPGA. Planning for 2026 is well underway!

Very impressed with the conditions Scott Furlong and his team have produced for the The Solheim Cup considering the challenging summer weather! The atmosphere for this event is so good and I can’t wait to work with the team at Bernardus for Solheim Cup 2026!

Fall armyworm damage showing up in the Midwest. Parts of the region are very dry and the initial symptoms may look like drought stress. Be sure to scout closely.
