I don’t spend much time on TikTok (actively trying not to develop new digital addictions and their algorithm is basically a digital bar), but I fail to see how it being foreign owned is worse than YouTube actively radicalizing isolated white teenage boys.

To all the going to GDC for the first time next week, especially students: remember that networking is not about collecting interactions with “notable” game devs like filling a Pokédex. It’s making friends with and getting to know your peers in the industry.

don't harass developers and diversity is good for our medium and industry

It's completely ridiculous to me that we are at the precipice of another (long brewing) games culture shit show, and some look at what's happening to people like Alyssa and deny the severity.

The coolest seven seconds in video game history

Just wrapped my last class with Adam Dolin, which is awesome because the fantastic Jolie Menzel showed up to talk career and writing and the industry. What a great way to end an excellent 6 week course.

I wish 'cracking down on encampments' meant building affordable housing so people have permanent places to live but instead, it means taking all their stuff and throwing it away + forcing them to move one block over and over and over again and hoping they die or dissappear.
