Will Elon Musk now apologize and delete this point, amplifying and seemingly agreeing with a post filled with total demonstrable falsehoods about Muslims in the UK? His own Community Note system has destroyed Fox’s post.

Why amplify bigoted misinfo on your own site? Shameful.

Three politicians from the Conservative party, which lost almost 500 councillors and multiple mayoral contests in these local elections, featured on the Laura Kuenssberg programme this morning.

None from the Greens or Lib Dems, who both made significant gains across the country.

The bigger question is why she was on this program. Why not the Greens or Lib Dem’s who actually won things?

Unlike the Labour leader, who has repeatedly folded under pressure from the Conservative party and the press, Sadiq Khan has stuck to his guns and won a historic third term

Here's the lessons a Keir Starmer Government should learn from the London mayor

So the two responses to these results from the Conservatives has either been to say:

1) The plan is working and we just need to tell voters more loudly that they're wrong not to see it

2) Let's mimic Reform UK, who won a grand total of 2 seats across the country, a little more.

Asked if the Conservatives should change anything at all after suffering the worst local election defeat in 40 years, Mark Harper replies that 'we have a plan and the plan is working'.

Mark Harper denies the local election results show that voters don't want what the Conservative party is offering.

Says the result in Tees Valley shows the 'plan is working' and they are 'delivering on the priorities' the public wants.

Utterly delusional

Suella Braverman unable to properly explain why the kind of politics and campaigning she is now calling for just received an absolute drubbing in London.

Suggests Susan Hall's defeat was due to her not receiving the proper 'support' from Rishi Sunak.

'There's no spinning these results' says Suella Braverman, who immediately goes on to claim that massive election victories for Labour and other parties on the centre left, means the Conservative party should now lurch even further to the right

Reading Adam Bienkov on how Starmer needs to actually pick some fights on things it cares about makes me think about local politics and how easy it can be to just say 'no, it'll be too hard to do that.'

Mark Harper on Sky News in firm denial mode. Insists the public hasn't stopped listening to the party, we just need to 'keep getting our message out there'

Continuing to tell voters 'we're not wrong, you're just not listening to us properly' isn't a winning strategy.
