AdPR + Terry students Katie Barber and Lily Clodfelter just won UGA’s Digital Marketing Case Competition with Porsche! Their winning campaign earned them a trip to NYC to visit agencies like Wasserman and Publicis. We love to see students from across campus collaborating.

Grady Convocation and Senior Send-Off had us feeling all the emotions for the AdPR Class of 2025. Congrats, grads. Your next chapter is just beginning, and we’re cheering you on every step of the way!

We’re proud to share that Karen Andrea Robayo Sanchez, Julianna Thomas and Anyi Morfaw were named 2025 The LAGRANT Foundation scholarship recipients. Through this program, they grew their skills, built connections and prepared for career leadership in communications.

Joe Watson recently visited National Chengchi University in Taipei, where he promoted Grady’s 3+1+1 program and spoke on strategic public affairs communication. The trip also included a must-try stop at Din Tai Fung for soup dumplings!

Women in Media had a strong year empowering students to lead, create and connect. The organization continues to provide a supportive space for students to build skills and pursue their passions across all forms of media.

Students are back in Athens and putting the final touches on the AdPR NYC Maymester. From agency visits in New York to post-trip reflections, it’s been a powerful few weeks of learning and growth.

Congratulations to Catherine Elrod and Laurel Clark for earning second place in the 2025 IPR + Page Case Study Competition! Their case study, “Against the Grain: Tractor Supply Company’s DEI Dilemma,” demonstrates the strategic insight shaping the future of our field.

“The AdPR Japan trip was full of learning experiences in Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka. I learned more about international affairs and public affairs in class, and our tour of Edelman gave me a chance to speak with and learn from experts in the PR field," Sydney Tipton said.

The Cannes Lions Festival study abroad program is officially underway!

The AdPR NYC summer program has officially kicked off! Week one included Broadway, SoHo, Central Park and skyscraper views. Now, our students are starting full-time internships across the city. More to come from the Big Apple! 🗽

The Grady Chicago summer program is underway. Students are already jumping into internships, exploring the city and connecting with Grady alumni.

Shannon Lorusso is interning with Cox Enterprises’ internal comms team this summer. “Being part of a team that truly values its people has shown me how impactful internal storytelling can be.” She’s building skills and confidence for a future in corporate communications.

The Grady DC Field Study and Internship program is in full swing! After some sightseeing, students jumped right into a summer of internships, public affairs coursework and networking across D.C.

Meet Haven Newbold, one of our summer intern standouts! She’s spending the summer at NBCUniversal’s Ad Sales office in Atlanta. “I am so grateful for the privilege of being their intern and cannot wait to see what else is in store this summer!”

Riley Mason is diving into global communications this summer at Delta Air Lines. Her internship includes writing, strategy and working with the Delta Flight Museum team. “This summer has taught me to always #KeepClimbing.”

The Cannes Lions program may be over, but the impact lives on. AdPR student Mahek Charania reflects on her time in France: “What started as a curiosity about the industry quickly became a crash course in what it truly means to build meaningful, culturally resonant work.”
