To tackle criminal exploitation of children and YP we need urgent action.

Following a review by Professor Alexis Jay CBE. We are calling for:

▪️A UK-wide strategy, and agreed legal definition

▪️A welfare-first approach

▪️A specific offence of criminally exploiting children

We welcome this report on such a important issue. It emphasises the crucial need to view children impacted by criminal exploitation as victims, not criminals, aligning with UNCRC principles.
