ACT4LITTER is part of it! Today's presentation by Matheus 🕸️ (@SCP_RAC ) will focus on how our project's experience on standardised monitoring of litter on beaches & on concrete decision-making tools supporting the MPA managers and the implementation of actions plans to address ML.

Cristina Panti (Università di Siena) presents the holistic approach of Plastic Busters MPAs to preserve #biodiversity from plastics in the #Med, at the @MEDCommunity3_2 event on enhancing EU policies with ecosystem-based approaches, held in #Bruxelles.

1/2 Transferring the lessons learned & presenting the outputs of the project: with these 2 objectives, Matheus 🕸️ (@SCP_RAC) speaks about ACT4LITTER's experience to reduce impacts on #Med ecosystems.

2/2 ACT4LITTER used a standardised monitoring to fill the fata gap on marine litter and developed a decision making tool to support the MPA managers to implement MPA marine litter management action plans. #Bruxelles #BeatPlasticPollution

Building bridges between @MEDProgramme project: ACT4LITTER & Plastic Busters MPAs with a unique goal: to preserve biodiversity from plastics in the #Med. ACT4LITTER came to an end in October but efforts will continue to be exhorted in the Region with Plastic Busters MPAs!
