I've learned so much at Achieve and am thankful to have worked for such a mission-driven organization. The difference it has made for students across the country is immeasurable. With its closing, I'm thrilled to carry on its science work as @NextGenScience at WestEd.

Our team -- @JennySarna, Vanessa Wolbrink, and Neelo Soltanzadeh -- brings together ground-level classroom experience, district-level leadership and systems thinking, and policy analysis with expertise in the latest science education research, change management, and equity.

My goodness, what a tremendous lineup of dedicated servants to students’ need that Achieve developed. Humbled to be a part of it all. And, while I’ll miss the organization called Achieve , its contributions, people, and soul carry on!

The NextGenScience team will manage and use the tools developed by Achieve and housed on nextgenscience.org to increase availability of quality science materials, support districts to plan and implement equitable science education programs, and be stewards of the #NGSS.
