Last week's student led collective worship was themed 'loving our community'. 7 Kady have created a poem and presented it to the rest of the year group. 🙏🏼

Amazing work from our year 9 students who were supported by artist Tina Ramos Ekongo on their portrait painting.  In the summer their work will be displayed in the Walker art gallery! 🤩

Year 10 students took part in a parliamentary session at the Town Hall. The challenging topic of discussion was racism and belonging. Our students were wonderful ambassadors as always. #proud #studentleadership #studentcouncil 🤩

Today our Y11s had the amazing experience of visiting the Etihad to live the day of a professional sports journalist. The students were coached on how to interview players, visited the dressing rooms and had a tour of the stadium. The students said it was a 'boss' day all round!

A huge congratulations to the 11 students who represented our Academy yesterday at the Writing on the Wall Poetry Celebration, Unity Theatre. The standards of our students' poems were simply superb and they made Miss Kady and Mr Healy so proud 🤩
