I've made the decision to stop doing mental health talks at the end of the year for a while. I've got to look after myself and little bean when I go back to work full time. I hope I've done enough for the academic community. I hope I've done what I set out to do.

Just got an email offering £1500 to use an AI tool for marking as part of a trial at the University of Sussex. So we will have AI marking essays students have written with AI. All in the name of ‘educational enhancement’. UK HE is a ridiculous farce. Academic Chatter™

I’m always surprised by how education and the workplace treats those with dyslexia. Based on my own experiences, I would say most workplaces are not supportive. The best university I have seen for student support has been Bangor Psychology #Dyslexia #AcademicChatter
