"Of course I'm helping him with that! He's my best friend." Despite her ups and downs with BJ, they genuinely cared about one another.

"No one is doing it to me." She frowned, shaking her head. "But it's just ridiculous. We're in /high school/, and they're still just concerned with how people look." She sighed. "And don't get me started on what happens when you try standing up for someone."

Letting out a content sigh, she gave him a squeeze.

"Trust me. He tried using me once. He knows better than to try again."

If he needs company, even if it's just sitting with him in silence, she's here for him!

She sat beside her friend, offering him a small smile. If he wanted to vent, she was a good listener.

"I'm alright, but it's you I'm concerned about." She spoke softly, soft smile never faltering. "What’s goin' on?"

Her brows furrowed. "Is there anything I can do to help?" Maybe she could go get him something from outside the house if it would cheer him up.

This... this gave her an idea. "Well, I didn't bring my camera with me, but I did have my phone on me!" She reached into a pocket on her dress, pulling it out. "We went on a class trip last week to a nearby nature preserve." She offered her phone to him so he could look.

While he looked through the photos, Lydia kept a close eye on his expressions. She knew exactly what to do. If Adam couldn't go out to see all of this beautiful nature, she would bring it to him in the form of scrapbooks and photo albums. She let out a soft chuckle. "Thanks!"

She laughed softly, giving Adam a slight nudge. "No need to worry. Cloud storage is a lifesaver." Letting out a content sigh, she chewed on her lower lip. "You know... if there's anything you're really itching to see, maybe I can go out and take more specific pictures."
