Debts to public bodies are recovered in the most punitive ways - Aberlour Children's Charity are leading the way on the campaign to end pernicious debt recovery practices


Delighted that the Government has agreed to my proposals to tackle the scandal of domestic abuse survivors being forced to pay off their abuser's debts. Thanks to Scottish Women's Aid, Aberlour Children's Charity and Financially Included for their work uncovering this issue


Today lynne o'brien gave evidence to Social Justice and Social Security Committee. Our systems are failing women, specifically survivors of domestic abuse and their children.
