Wonderful panel by ICLEI goksen on NDC 3.0 for multilevel action and possibility of climate action in cities. Presenting various perspectives on cities by Anshul Abbasi NIUA_India YUVA Roshni Nuggehalli with ideas 💡 on how to actually work on climate action for urban.

Anshul Abbasi pointed at the india initiatives including climate action plans for cities, but also a climate assessment framework for preparation of climate actions. Going forward stressed on increased investment, incentive and scientific research to further climate action.

NIUA_India Anshul Abbasi highlighted of how urban planning needs to incorporate climate crisis actions and make it relevant for now, and how finance planning is central to climate action. Especially in developing countries like India.

NIUA_India Anshul Abbasi Minna Arve mayor mentions of the work of turku city at initiating climate action and working towards net zero by 2029. This was led by the city municipality that prepared plans and action, along with support from different levels of government.
