Check out the #ASER2020 "COVID-19 Hotwash" at 2:30 CDT. Numbers are rising again worldwide, so we assembled an international panel of experts to talk about what worked well during the first peak and what didn't go as planned. Come see our Emergency Radiology Lessons Learned

Our paper on the value of #DECT in the #ED where we show how routine use of #DECT can increase confidence and decrease follow up examinations and cost. Hopefully this will encourage more studies demonstrating how this amazing tech adds to Value-Based Care

Francis Deng, MD this is why we use the “diagnostic certainty scale”! it has helped me to remain more internally consistent with what i mean & if we are all using it, it helps our ordering providers understand as well! rad.bwh.harvard.edu/diagnostic-cer… Atul Shinagare, MD Giles Boland Aaron Sodickson MD, PhD, FASER

T3: I actually did an abdominal imaging fellowship- when I initially started @brighamrad, the transition was very challenging. Reading multiple body parts on various modalities at a quick pace on acutely ill patients is stressful if you are not ERad trained #ASERTweetChat

T3: Learn from the masters during fellowship on how to optimize your efficiency, advance subject expertise, hit the ground running as an attending, become indispensable to your practice #ASERTweetchat

T3: Let's be real. Can you get an emergency radiology job out of another fellowship? Yes, probably. But, why would you? And if you KNOW you want to do emergency radiology, doing a fellowship will put YOU on the top of a list of potential hires. #ASERTweetchat

Jennifer Uyeda, MD, FASER (@uyedajen) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Tarek Hanna, MD completely agree- an ERad fellowship will give you a huge advantage over other non-ERad fellowship trained applicants @ASER_ERad #ASERtweetchat

T3: It's very challenging to read across anatomic subdivisions, complex acute cases especially trauma, manage interruptions, and be efficient. #ER fellowship will help increase your competence AND confidence. #ASERTweetchat

T4: Most of us do some night work though the amount is variable and dependent on individual practices and on the radiologist’s appetite for night work. Our practice has 7 shifts a day over a 24 hour period and most of us work all of the shifts 7days/week #ASERTweetChat
