I’d never seen The Princess and the Frog before. As soon as I heard the villain I knew it was Keith David. What a voice. They brought back Goliath for another role.

I'm not a big silent movie guy, but Charlie Chaplin's A Dog Life has some fun gags. At one point he hides the dog in his pants and the tail sticks out in the back.

Sawyer as a character feels out of place with the sci-fi/supernatural elements of Lost. It can be fun when he butts up against them, like when he derides Locke for listening to “Taller Ghost Walt.”

Rewatched Oppenheimer. Wonder if Christopher Nolan had the chance to go back, would he have used 5-perf 70mm film for Interstellar’s non-IMAX scenes.

Speaking of Oppenheimer, the air and space museum housing the Chantilly Laser IMAX has the Enola Gay that dropped the atomic bomb. Don’t think that’s something they’d advertise though.

Elton John thinks he should have won the Oscar for Circle of Life and not Can You Feel the Love Tonight? Which has been my opinion for a while too.

RIP James Earl Jones. Darth Vader, Mufasa, Admiral Greer, and more. He had memorable cameos on The Simpsons and you can find him in Dr. Strangelove.

Started Succession Season 3. Didn’t mention for Season 2 what a treat it was to watch scenes with Brian Cox, Cherry Jones, and Holly Hunter.

Bet there's a suit at WB who is contemplating a Risky Business legacy sequel, but he has only seen the dancing scene and doesn't know what the original was about.

Playing through the God of War Valhalla DLC gives you time to appreciate the amount of detail in Kratos’ character model. I have the PS4 version so it must look even better on PS5.

I stand by once your movie hits 2 and a half hours, you should at least consider an intermission, but I understand that’s not a modern theater practice in the US. The Batman has a great point for an intermission at the conclusion of the Batmobile chase scene.
