19th Nordic Symposium on Catalysis is happily over (6.-8.6.). Not much tweeting during the event... there is so little time, when you are the organizer! Some stats here. Plenaries by Centi and BertWeckhuysen were great. Videos perhaps to come later. #NordicSympCat #FinCatSoc
Catalysis group, Aalto Univ. School of Chem. Eng. This is how it goes 😊
My photos from the #aaltouniversity #installationtalks - oh wow! (Credit: Aalto University / Mikko Raskingn) The group photo looks actually like - a school class photo 😀! Let's see when the video is ready to share - will go to Aalto Youtube. Catalysis group, Aalto Univ. School of Chem. Eng. #AaltoCHEM
Andrew Akbashev ...Thing is: I have continuously too many tasks & too little time. I decided that I will prioritize in my time use those who I committed to support, that is, those who are in my group now. I continuously have too little time for them, too. I feel good with this decision.
Here, a great example from Bent Group of cautious social media usage: posters, with (presumably unpublished) scientific contents covered with white boxes in the images. I will bring this up with my students: one should carefully think what to share. #AcademicTwitter #ALDepChat
COOLCAT experimentalists and computational researchers together after a project group meeting in Jyväskylä. Thanks CompCatJYU for hosting us & for the nice collaboration! #C1value Suomen Akatemia | Research Council of Finland
Highlight of the day! Lunch with Tuomo #Suntola and participants in my (first-ever) doctoral course on #ALDep (one missing). So, some #NovemberNetworkingALD this year, too, even when I was unable to organize a bigger event (as too many things to do). Catalysis group, Aalto Univ. School of Chem. Eng. #AaltoCHEM
End-of-the-year summary for Catalysis group, Aalto Univ. School of Chem. Eng., linked, in Catalysis Professor's Open. Looking forward to 2023 -- first, a break. Happy Holidays! #AaltoCHEM blogs.aalto.fi/catprofopen/20…
We have (finally!) produced #OpenData set for PCCP 24 (2022) 8645-8660, doi.org/10.1039/D1CP04…, Fig 4, which e.g. shows the effect of #ALDep GPC on penetration depth (thickness profile).
