My heart goes out to so many people today, but my first thoughts today have been about the courageous people of Ukraine, fighting with and for their lives for democracy and freedom. We let them down.🇺🇦

This is ridiculous. Biden was the most pro-labor president in 60 yrs. His stimulus plan was targeted to get people back to work. Working-class people saw their real wages grow faster than any other group. Dems did not abandon the working class. The working class abandoned them.

I think Dems obviously need to rethink some of their policies, and their rhetoric. But losing by 1.5% in the popular vote (and by barely larger margins than that in most swing states) is not a "resounding repudiation."

Powell's resolve not to quit for Trump has history. As reported in "The Divider," Powell was told that if Trump tried to fire him he would have to pay out of his own pocket to fight in court. He told allies he would "spend my last nickel" to defend the Fed's independence Susan Glasser

From 1993 to 2019, before covid and its special migration-limiting rules, the Administration with the fewest removals of undocumenteds by far was...Trump's, fewer than 400K a year. Under Obama it was 600K, 1.25M under Bush, 1.5M under Clinton. The politics of fantasy and lies.

Here’s a video produced by “Led by Donkeys” out of the U.K. that puts down the timeline of how Musk used X to get Donald Trump elected. I would save it because I don’t think it will be up for long.

Disturbing: A big reason Trump won was undecideds couldn't be persuaded that millions of jobs lost in 2020 and death of Roe were Trump's fault, internal Harris campaign polling showed. Biden/Ds let Trump rehab himself to disastrous effect. New piece: newrepublic.com/article/188238…
