A packed room for the Advisory Board Commissioners meeting in Navy Yard follow the teen takeover this past weekend. A lot of conservations have been happening about what happened but now the focus is finding solutions.

#BREAKING: DC police responding to a shooting in the 1700 blk of Benning Rd. NE.  The incident was reported at 5:08pm. Officers say they found a teenage girl with a gunshot wound.     

#UPDATE: This is now a death investigation. Police say a teenage girl is dead from what appears to be a self inflicted gunshot wound. Life saving measures were attempted. The gun has been recovered. WUSA9

#BREAKING: We have now learned that two people are dead according to DC police. The victims are one man and one woman.

#UPDATE: Israel’s Ambassador says the deadly double shooting happened outside the Capital Jewish Museum where there was an event going on. He says Israeli embassy employees were also injured.

A somber scene here along 3rd and E street after two people were shot and killed and two others injured outside of the Capital Jewish Museum.

NEW: A full house for Ward 7 Councilmember Wendell Felder’s RFK stadium townhall. Mayor Muriel Bowser is also here along with a representative from the Commanders. Everyone I’ve spoken with here says they’re in favor of this new stadium.

This is what we are seeing in Navy Yard right now. A heavy police presence and at one point a small group of teens. Police were quick to use sirens to clear them out. This is almost a week after the latest teen takeover that turned violent. WUSA9
