Few from the 21 mile #ullswaterway yesterday. What a fantastic long(ish) distance walk this is. Well signposted and good paths. We stayed at the The Quiet Site - Glamping Camping and Holiday Park as our base camp which actually on the trail. I Would highly recommend both the walk and accommodation 👌

Yesterday, I was delighted to pick up the iconic 50-year-old Penyghent drawing by Wainwright, which has been given a lovely makeover by Youdells in Kendal. It is officially one of my favourite drawings.

Wainwright at his Kendal Green home, just three months before he passed away. This poignant photograph was taken by his close friend Sheila Richardson during an interview for Cumbria magazine. Sheila's article was published shortly after his death.
