AVORD, in partnership with UNHCR Somalia, has launched a TVET program in Banadir and Baidoa targeting 100 IDP youth. The initiative aims to tackle unemployment and enhance income-generating opportunities for displaced communities in Somalia. #YouthEmpowerment #TVET #Somalia



AVORD, with support from UNHCR Somalia and in close collaboration with SWS commission for Refugees and IDPs, distributed essential core relief items to flood-affected IDPs in Baidoa. This initiative aims to help vulnerable families rebuild their shelters with dignity. #IDPs #HumanitarianAid #Baidoa.


AVORD with the support from UNHCR Somalia , distributed the second phase of essential life-saving standard NFI kits in Baidoa, targeting 161 HHs among the flood-affected IDPs in Baidoa. In collaboration with the State IDP Commission SWS commission for Refugees and IDPs , and Common Pipeline partners.


AVORD with the support from UNHCR Somalia and in close collaboration with SWS commission for Refugees and IDPs, successfully reached 550 flood affected IDP households with complete standard NFI kits in Baidoa. This response aimed at enhancing living conditions & rebuild their shelters with dignity.


AVORD with the support of UNHCR Somalia and close collaboration with key stakeholders including SWS commission for Refugees and IDPs and Baidoa Municipality Southwest State of Somalia successfully handed over 110 transition shelters alongside 28 shared latrines that were constructed by AVORD in Lawiley IDP site, Baidoa-CH01.
