Good start to my annual leave. Pasta sauce made. Bolognaise sauce cooking and chicken stock being made to turn into chicken soup. Now sitting on my balcony in the sunshine watching the kite surfers. 😎

Thanks to everyone who came to the last GSS tonight. Thanks to Fr Ben for leading our requiem mass. Once service had finished we adjourned to the Beach Green hotel for refreshments. We also admitted Sue to the GSS. Welcome Sue.

A very big thanks to everyone who helped and or attended St Michael and All Angels Christmas Fayre in Lancing. Despite the bad weather it was busy. The total we raised will be announced in Sunday morning mass. 🥰

Tonight my mum sisters Jane, Kate and myself have just said to our husband/father. Passed away after having a fall at the beginning of January. I was able to say 23psalm. rip JOHN REDMAN. We love you loads. 😮‍💨

Nice day out at Canterbury today with a service to see arch deacon Luke become bishop. I can now say I had a bishop attend my house warming weekend at my beach front apartment. 🤗

Good start to my birthday weekend. Afternoon Tea at south lodge with my mum, sisters and niece. Tomorrow out for Sunday lunch at local pub then on Monday champagne and cake on balcony over looking the sea with my family. 😎

Rude awakening to the end of my birthday weekend. Was. Woken up today at 2am with main apartment fire alarm going off. Finally got back to sleep just after 3am. 🥱

Well where’s that year gone. This time last year I was packing up to move from lancing close to live by the sea. Thanks to my sister’s for their help on that day. 😎
