Tomorrow is 1st July 2023 Our young men from all over Ulster on 1st July 1916 went over the top at 7 30 am when the whistles blew,thousands were mowed down killed or injured.We will never forget their sacifice and they will always be in our hearts for generations to come.

On 23rd Aug 1914, the first 2 VCs of WW1 were earned by Lt Maurice Dease & Fusilier Sid Godley of 4th Battalion Royal Fusiliers. Their actions at the Mons Canal Railway Bridge resulted in Lt Dease being killed in action and Fus Godley severely wounded and taken prisoner of war.
