Hot fried Papad has a special demand in winter. Here is Bhavaprakasha (12.45) on Fried Papad पर्पटास्ते सदाङ्गारभृष्टाः परमरोचकाः। parpaṭās te sadāṅgārabhṛṣṭāḥ paramarocakāḥ The papads or appalam roasted over coals are extremely delicious and delightful.

Hot fried Papad has a special demand in winter.
