May 17, 1990 was the day the WHO declassified homosexuality as a mental disorder. Despite that monumental decision, LGBTQIA+ people still regularly face violence and discrimination. It is up to all of us to help eliminate homophobia, transphobia, and biphobia.

Finding LGBTQIA+ qualified healthcare providers: Trans and queer folks have been historically marginalized by medical and mental health providers. LGBTQIA+ individuals have faced discrimination in healthcare spaces as a result of their identities.
