US Senate has just cleared a key procedural hurdle, 73 Senators have voted to take up the repeal of the #WEP & #GPO. An excellent signal on the bills odds of passing the Senate. The same legislation has already passed the US House and🤞🏻will soon be on its way to the Pres. desk.

HR82 cont’s to move toward debate & a vote after Sen Mike Lee’s (R-UT) attempt to stop the bill with a tirade of falsehoods fails. Lee claimed teachers/police/fire aren’t entitled to unearned benefits. In reality repeal only allows them to receive the benefits they paid in for.
