The ASSBT Board of Directors met this week in Savannah, GA to begin meeting planning for ASSBT 2023. Savannah was a hit!

ASSBT is pleased to attend and support our friends overseas at the 78th IIRB (International Institute of Sugar Beet Research) Congress. A great Day 1 of research presentations and posters, followed by dinner at the Chateau de Beloeil in Belgium. #IIRB2022

Day 2 of IIRB meetings featured two interesting USDA-ARS virtual presentations from Melvin Bolton and chenggen chu on the complex genetics of DMI fungicide resistance and the potential of the NPGS germplasm collection and crop wild relatives, respectively.

A fantastic day learning about research at Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech. “Agriculture-Environment-Food-Forest is Life”. CO2 measurements, food technology, climate studies, AI and deep learning, and forest management and predictive modeling were some of the research themes. #IIRB2022
