Excellent BIG symposium panel discussion with Sam Stupp, Abigail Knight, Dingchang Lin & Santiago Correa on the impact of #AI and #ML on supramolecular materials design at ASRC Nanoscience Initiative!

We had a fantastic collection of talks today at "BIG Symposium" ASRC Nanoscience Initiative - stared with the plenary talk by Prof. Samuel Stupp and ended with amazing talks from students. It's my privilege to chair the session with students' talks.

Thank you ASRC Nanoscience Initiative @UlijnGroup for organizing a fantastic BIG conference!!!

Job well done to MontclareLabs Temi Majekodunmi & Jonathan Sun for presenting their research on #biocatalysts and #biomaterials at the 3rd BIG symposium at ASRC Nanoscience Initiative ! #welldone #phdlife #lablife

Get ready for an inspiring day at the 2nd Annual NanoBioNYC Symposium on May 7th! 🎉 Register today and submit your abstract by April 26th to share your research with the community ✨ Details here - nanobionyc.com/2nd-annual-sym… @UlijnGroup CUNY ASRC ASRC Nanoscience Initiative #CUNY #NSFNRT

.Dhwanit Dave, ASRC Nanoscience Initiative, is graduating from The Graduate Center with a Ph.D. in Chemistry. His research used computers as tools to simulate ways that amino acids & peptides interact, self-assemble, & form functional materials for applications. #2024Grad ow.ly/tiXV50S9KJO

“The best part of working at the ASRC is to jointly tackle complex scientific problems with colleagues and students, and in doing this, finding new insights that take our research in a forward direction.” —@UlijnGroup, ASRC Nanoscience Initiative director. #ASRC10 bit.ly/ASRC10

Did you know ASRC Nanoscience Initiative hosted its second event almost 10 years ago this month? Yep! They gathered scientists from CUNY, NYU, Columbia, and other East Coast research institutions to discuss soft matter research. #ASRC10 bit.ly/3RW1bkX

Flashback to 2016 when Prof. Elisa Riedo, former ASRC Nanoscience Initiative faculty member, & colleagues' research on the design of fully reconfigurable magnetic nanopatterns that can be programmed & reprogrammed on-demand was Nature Nanotechnology's cover story.
