A group of 6th year students visited the Midlands Skills Centre in Axis Business Park on Tuesday. They were treated to a presentation and a tour of the impressive facilities. The visit offered valuable insights into apprenticeships and the workings of a clean room environment.

ASCN invites all in our community to join us in celebrating Positivity Week. Positivity Week begins this Friday with a jersey day and we have a number of activities planned for both students and parents throughout next week. Keep an eye on our socials for more event information

The Active School Flag team promoted the use of our school walkway the week before Easter. During the week students took part in the Lunchtime Laps competition, had active breaks during class, egg hunts and learned on the move! Teachers also battled it out in a steps challenge

Barry Flynn and Brendan Clerkin both took time today to visit Ms Youngs 5th LCA Science class. They arrived in an ambulance and allowed the students to sit into it while they described what their job entails. The class found the talk and ambulance experience very interesting

Despite a tough loss in the semi-finals, our 1st year girls soccer team showed incredible determination and growth with each game. We are so proud of their effort and excited to see their further improvement in the future. Well done all!



Well done to our senior boys soccer team who had two great wins against Colaiste Choilm on a score line of 5-4 and St. Mel’s Longford on a score line of 6-3. These wins put us in a with a great chance of reaching the West Leinster A final after Easter. Well done to all

🌿🔬 Our 6th year Biology students enjoyed an Ecology field trip @dublinzoo_official before the Easter break! 🦁🔍 They completed Ecology experiments, got some hands-on revision, and then relaxed in the zoo and Liffey Valley before returning home to begin their Easter break. 🐣🌳

This week 2nd year students visited TUS Athlone as part of the Business in the Community programme. This programme is about Sustainability. Congratulations to our 1st year team who beat St Finians 3-2 on penalties after it finished 3-3 after extra time. Halle scored two and Sophie got one. Penalties converted by Jeyda, Kara and Ava were enough to see the girls through to the semi final of the Leinster Division 3
