Last week, the APT was in Senegal to support the NPM deepen skills for #TorturePrevention and develop a new strategic plan. We were inspired by the determination and collective ownership of everyone involved with the NPM’s work.

Women face in detention can face additional risks of torture and ill-treatment. Oversight bodies are most effective in addressing these risks when they adopt a gender-sensitive approach when monitoring places of detention. More in our online course: bit.ly/3IPQ8EL
