My ATL Public Schools Police team staged a 10am meeting to wish me a happy birthday. Even my boss APS OPS Chief Larry Hoskins was in on it. I have the best team and the best job ever.

Last week’s GASROE conference was a big hit!!! Over 400 SROs, educators & ATL Public Schools Police Officers received training to help keep scholars SafeSecureStrong! Our own Tara Shelton, Sgt. Price, Inv. Gibson I contributed to the training.

This am 5 mile run in preparation for Atlanta Track Club PRR was a tough 1. Had to lean on an ATL Public Schools SEL in APS fav book “What the Road Said” for motivation. What if giving up is easier? Keep going!!

My baby boy, or should I say young man 🤣😂 and I ran the Atlanta Track Club PRR for the 2nd consecutive year. He 1st saw me finish in 2005 & now he’s heavier (recreating 2005 pic but….) 😂🤣, faster & in much better shape. It’s pretty cool to experience this time with him.

Today the ATL Public Schools Police Honor Guard had their 1st detail today (#proudchiefmoment 🤩) presenting the colors at the Campus Safety Conference (Campus Safety Conference 24) opening ceremony, & Sgt. Byrd blew the roof off singing the National Anthem. APS OPS
