An article in the November issue of #PAIN found #mRNA, #protein, and function of #TRPM3 channel are upregulated in bladder afferents in interstitial cystitis/painful #bladdersyndrome model rats, suggesting the involvement of TRPM3 in #chronicbladderpain. bit.ly/3X0BhgX

Pelvic health research does feel 15-20 years behind MSK. I’m reading more and more trials of intravesical PRP for bladder pain. I’m dubious to say the least.
