This coming Tuesday at 3pm we are holding our first virtual meeting of 2020! We'll be discussing the impact of COVID-19 on sepsis patients across the UK #APPGSEPSIS

Yesterday we held our first ever virtual meeting of the #SEPSISAPPG! Interesting discussion on supporting patients through COVID-19 and rehabilitation services. Thanks to @Rees4Neath, Chris Stephens , Mike Wood , baroness masham and Jim Shannon MP! 💻

Fantastic to see our chair @Rees4Neath ask the Prime Minister what plans he has to make sure that the link between sepsis, Covid, long-sepsis and long-Covid is included in the recently announced £18.5million gov‘t funding for research projects into long-Covid.

The APPG on Sepsis is saddened by the news of the death of our former Chair, Dame Cheryl Gillan. The APPG’s thoughts are with her family and friends during this time.
