Great to see Live Events Insurance finally implemented following our call for the scheme in February. This is a positive step from the Government but will be too late for many... Jeff Smith Christian Wakeford MP

I'll be speaking at the APPG Night Time Economy tomorrow afternoon around drug safety testing for nightlife events. After 18 months away from dancefloors this topic has never felt more important. Drugs exist. We can save lives with sensible harm reduction and testing policies
Thanks to APPG Night Time Economy & Jeff Smith for the opportunity to present to MPs today on the role drug checking can play in helping to reduce drug-related harm in reopened nightlife. Great to hear Carly Heath & Sorcha Ryan discuss their important #harmreduction work in Bristol too.

This week Kerry McCarthy asked if the Government will work with organisations such as The Loop to save lives in the night time economy with drug safety testing services. Fiona Measham Jeff Smith Christian Wakeford MP @wearethentia
Drugs checking services and harm reduction policies (including dosage education) can and will save lives. Thanks for bringing this to parliament Kerry McCarthy
Very heartening & measured Q&A in Parliament this week. Thanks to Kerry McCarthy for the question & Kit Malthouse MP for the answer.
