I made it home from Albany in time for our annual Día de Reyes giveaway! Thanks to District Council 9, the Las Doñas Academy, and the community at PS 89Q The Jose Peralta School of Dreamers, we were able to give 250 families a winter coat, hats, gloves, and toys to celebrate the holiday. 🧣🧸

Started this Friday with a visit to Maurice A. FitzGerald P.S. 199Q in Sunnyside. We were excited to meet with Principal Daliposki and students to announce $620,000 in funding for new air conditioning in the school’s auditorium, technology upgrades, and arts programming through Ballet Hispánico.
