Beautiful house that I pass by on my way to/from RER A in Chatou most days. Nowadays it houses “Musique et Compagnie”; a music school and a place for artistic development.

Lunch with a colleague earlier this week at the Cercle Suédois / Cercle Norvégien founded in 1891 & situated in Rue de Rivoli with panoramic views of the Tuileries Garden. Alfred Nobel wrote his famous will on the premises in 1895. Prizes were first awarded in 1901.

Lourmel, a station on line 8 of the Paris Métro in the 15th arrondissement. It is named after the nearby rue de Lourmel, which in turn is named after a French general that killed during the Crimean War.
