We've been taught in #healthcare that a lower resting heart rate is healthier. I don't know the accuracy of the #AppleWatch for tracking this biomarker, but I do credit 10-15 minutes of weekly then daily Assault Fitness for this miraculous transformation in a matter of months.

In my opinion this is the most efficient #cardiovascular #fitness piece of equipment for folks over 30. Zero Joint Impact. You don't need to plug it in and anyone can do it. Unlimited fitness challenges (HIIT, LISS). All of us can find 10 minutes a day for our health.

None of us is guaranteed good health. If you look around you, you see this to be very true. If you want good health, you have to create it yourself. You have the tools, you have a body that is capable of healing and you have the brain to think and execute. You are NOT a victim.

I think most people's goal is fat loss, not weight loss (which involves losing lean muscle as well). Love these tips from trainer Jay Ferruggia. Highly recommend listening to his podcast and a follow on Instagram.

I've seen light change more times than I can count... brilliant sunsets, a solar eclipse, and even the Northern Lights dancing over surf in Iceland. Nothing rivals the sight of an active volcano glowing as the sun fades. Shot on Assignment for: National Geographic

I love 16:8 intermittent fasting as it has allowed me more flexibility in my 8 hour feeding window. This recent publication in Cell demonstrates it's utility in improving metabolic health even if you are not eating a low carb diet. cell.com/cell-reports-m…
