📞 Ypres calling! Special delivery🚚 Barbara, Martijn, and Charlotte visited the BAAC depot last Friday and collected the first batch of skeletons from the Sint-Maarten parish in Ypres🦴 But who were these medieval city-dwellers, and where did they come from..?🧪

It's a busy week of micrometeorite hunting and imaging! The latter has included SEM/EDX analysis and optical imagery of many of our cosmic spherule finds! Included below is a composite image of a few relatively large samples identified here at the Archaeology, Environmental Changes & Geo-Chemistry! 😊☄️

We recently had the pleasure of guiding VUB Bachelor students on geological field excursions through the Ardennes and the Brabant Massif. Together, we reconstructed the tectonic history of Belgium, particularly during the Palaeozoic! 🐚🌊⛰️

The FLUX team has been busy these past couple of weeks, ranging from micrometeorite hunting, Raman spectroscopy, SEM/EDS, and XRF analysis! It's never a boring day at the lab! 😃☄️

This weekend our team traveled to Thessaloniki to celebrate the end of the TEFRA Project project with two days of exciting conferences! 🔥🔥
