As Patron of @SafeLives_, The Queen has joined a discussion with Changemakers, young pioneers of the charity, at Buckingham Palace.

Changemakers assist in guiding the charity’s response to issues facing young people, with a particular focus on encouraging healthy relationships.

On Friday, a poignant ceremony took place at Ballyclare War Memorial Park to unveil a special monument dedicated to the Northern Ireland Prison Service.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director General Beverley Wall said, 'This is a significant day. On behalf of the Prison Service, I want to thank Antrim & Newtownabbey Borough Council for this dedication. It will stand as a constant reminder of those who served with such conviction.'
